I have Motorola XOOM for probably a month now and I will be getting HTC Thunderbolt on March 17th. But I already know that Skype Video will not work on either of the devices and here is why.
Currently Skype Video works only on iOS but not for Android devices, which means even when you download the current android Skype app it is not going to allow you to do two way video calling, like iPhone or iPad does.
Motorola XOOM and HTC Thunderbolt have nothing to do with it, its actually Skype’s fault for delaying the feature. Now when is Skype video feature going to be released for Motorola XOOM , HTC Thunderbolt and other android front facing camera devices, well that is still unknown. Our speculation is that Skype should be coming out with an update early April but that’s all up in the air.
So for now sit tight, use Tango

It’s now the end of Sept and no video Skype for Xoom? Come on!!!
